Refreshing, fruity, crisp. Those are the top three qualities that Americans are looking for in their summer libations, according to Nielsen research reports. Summer celebrants also want citrus flavors. Our recommendation? A “Fruit Cocktail” pitcher, overflowing with strawberries, raspberries, limes, and lemons. Add a splash of friends, and you’ve got it. Of course, you’ll need to take this one outside to an inviting patio or deck. Cheers!

Fruit Cocktail

(makes one small pitcher)
    • 1 (12-oz.) can frozen pink lemonade concentrate, thawed
    • 3 (12-oz.) bottles beer (not dark), chilled
    • 3/4 cup vodka, chilled
    • Ice
    • Garnish: strawberries, limes, lemons, raspberries

Stir together first three ingredients. Pour over ice, and garnish!
