Known for his jovial laughter and empathetic ear, Dr. Remi Soile is beloved by his patients. His commitment to delivering excellent and compassionate care is evident throughout his practice, RS Medical in Southfield.
Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Soile has been in practice in the Detroit area for more than 20 years. He graduated summa cum laude from Obafemi Awolowo University, College of Health Sciences, Nigeria, and completed postgraduate training at Wayne State University and the DMC. He holds privileges with numerous area hospitals including Henry Ford, Beaumont, DMC Sinai-Grace, and St. John Providence.
Dr. Soile has vast experience in complex adult medical cases. His passion for a complete, comprehensive approach to general medical practice led to the designation of his practice as a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
In addition to his work with patients, Dr. Soile encourages and teaches medical students, nurse practitioners, and other doctors to do whatever they can to give back to the medical profession.
Always striving to bring his patients the latest, most advanced evidence-based medical treatment options, Dr. Soile is one of the first physicians in metro Detroit to offer Platelet-rich Plasma (PrP) injections. PrP therapy is a relatively new approach to tissue regeneration, which is becoming a valuable adjunct to promote healing. It has shown significant promise in the treatment of tension alopecia and joint pain.
Platelets normally circulate within the bloodstream and are responsible for blood clotting and initiating a healing response in an acute injury. Platelet-rich Plasma therapy uses the patient’s own blood and, through centrifugation, the platelet-rich portion of the patient’s own plasma is harvested. It is then re-injected into the injured joint or hair follicles under ultrasound guidance, to promote healing. PrP has been successful in not only relieving pain, but also in jump-starting the healing process.
In the interest of helping patients feel like their “best self,” Dr. Soile opened MVI Infusions, a hydration clinic within his practice that offers custom-prepared, preservative-free vitamins and minerals through an IV drip. Even though many of us take multivitamins to insure we get the recommended daily dose of the essential vitamins and nutrients our bodies need, certain diseases, foods, and medications can actually prevent our bodies from absorbing them properly. IV vitamins bypass the GI tract and are absorbed directly into the blood. At MVI Infusions, Dr. Soile personally tailors each infusion to the specific needs of the patient, whether it be to boost energy, encourage weight loss, elevate mood and decrease stress, improve sleep, or optimize immune and cellular function.
Each infusion takes 20 minutes to an hour to administer, during which time patients can enjoy a relaxing massage in a lounging recliner while listening to music, or watch TV in the beautiful infusion suite.
According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, more than 31 percent of Michigan residents suffer from obesity. Because obesity leads to diabetes, cardiovascular disease, stroke, and increased risk of other diseases, Dr. Soile — by addressing obesity with his patients — is targeting the leading cause of preventable mortality.
Dr. Soile offers a jump-start to a healthy weight loss regimen called Red Light Body Contouring Therapy. A low-level laser emits waves through the skin to stimulate cellular movement and the breakdown of fat cells. Dr. Soile concentrates on three areas where fat accumulates: the belly, the sides of the waist, and the upper back.
This FDA-approved, state-of-the-art technology has been adapted to facilitate weight loss and promote skin rejuvenation. Through a series of four to six treatments, patients can lose up to 20 pounds in a month. Dr. Soile stresses that this must be done in combination with following a reasonable diet and having an exercise regimen, and his practice offers access to dietary and nutrition counseling, meal-planning, and fitness training.
At RS Medical, Dr. Soile offers complete care for health issues, and focuses on helping his patients prevent illness and disease via proper nutrition and maintaining an appropriate level of physical activity.
