Thoroughly Modern

A party benefiting The Detroit Area Art Deco Society was held on April 23 as a preview to the annual Michigan Modernism Exposition in Southfield. The Art Deco Society is dedicated to restoring, preserving, collecting, and appreciating 20th-century modernism. The evening included hors d’oeuvres, music, and an opportunity to view and shop the 83 exhibitors’ booths. Photographs by Christine M.J. Hathaway
