Sweet Dreams in Palm Beach

“Green is often a neutral for me,” says 2013 Detroit Home Design Awards Rising Star Anne Strickland, of PORT Mfg. & Design. She fashioned this Palm Beach, Fla., bedroom in an ocean of green, from walls to bedding. “We wanted a fresh, springy green — not too mossy, since it’s oceanside,” says Strickland, whose business is based in Birmingham. “These tones aren’t too passive or too muted, and definitely not juvenile or too sweet.”
